The principle of the PROPAGATION CABINET is that fresh air saturated with water vapour is allowed to cool around the leaves of cuttings and plants. Moisture loss from leaves is eliminated thus encouraging healthy root growth. However, the leaf surface remains dry preventing
the formation of moulds. It is a completely self-contained unit which reaches the ideal conditions for rapid propagation and growth. A thermostatically controlled heated tray warms the reservoir of water through which fresh air is pumped creating a saturated atmosphere. The
thin aluminium sides of the cabinet cool the air producing ‘dew’ at the sides which then runs down back into the reservoir. The unit is supplied complete with twin 55 watt daylight fluorescent lighting unit and an electrical control panel providing a time clock to set your chosen artificial
day length and two thermostats for your day and night temperature requirements.
The cabinet measures 48” x 22” x 51” high overall with a fully adjustable lower storage tier. Maximum wattage use is 250W. Use in a room, garage, spare room, etc., where temperature is cool and fairly constant, not in a greenhouse - it’ll be too hot for efficient operation. Delivered in kit form for self assembly.
