It’s not always possible to design an all-functioning practical greenhouse that has looks to match. The Alton Alpine house has been devised by incorporating the maximum amount of ventilation needed to keep alpine plants cool. Of course, it is not only alpine plants that like it cool - the added ventilation will be of benefit to many other greenhouse plants during the hot summer months. All the added Alton accessories can be ordered separately, but purchased as an ‘Alpine package’ there are great savings to be had. The unique door opening retaining device allows for the door to be secured in the open position for added ventilation even in windy conditions without the risk of the door slamming shut. The special pre-formed concrete base kerbs provide a solid fixing and foundation for the building and ideally should be laid on flat level paving slabs.
